I would also like to add that not only did this trip make us closer as devotees, but it also brought me closer to krsna, as this is the first time I have had the opportunity to experience the temples and festivals of the Vaishnavas. As well as experience the darshan of the beautiful deities and Prabhupada in the temples. Haribol! Hare Krsna, and well said Heidi.
I would also like to add that not only did this trip make us closer as devotees, but it also brought me closer to krsna, as this is the first time I have had the opportunity to experience the temples and festivals of the Vaishnavas. Amidst all the problems that the world and worldly persons encounter on a frequent basis, that beneath every living soul is a kindred spirit and loving spirit who is eager to serve others over and beyond their capacity. Thus when a person is an angst about their limited capacities to do the best they can to others, often feel like they have so called "failed" in their dharma. Luckily, bhakti yoga provides an opportunity to serve the person who can provide unlimited service for every single individual spirit soul. This is making me begin to realize that, in essence, Krishna is actually serving us, rather than serving him. But because of his mercy, he lets us do devotional service in order to reciprocate the relationship. Thank you kindly for sharing!!
