Hare Krsna!

Do you currently live in Halifax? This month the Bramacharis are back, and it would be a good opportunity to meet them :).

Take Care, Bolo Hari

Hare Krsna, and well said Heidi.
I would also like to add that not only did this trip make us closer as devotees, but it also brought me closer to krsna, as this is the first time I have had the opportunity to experience the temples and festivals of the Vaishnavas. As well as experience the darshan of the beautiful deities and Prabhupada in the temples.
Haribol!

What a wonderful reflection. We are so fortunate to be able to have friendships of all kinds, but spiritual friendship are even that much sweeter when everyone helps everyone along their spiritual journey. And I love how every individual is unique, quirky, and humble to varying degrees. I wish ISKCON halifax all the best, and pray to Krsna to have continued association with ISKCON halifax and the travelling sankirtan bramacharis. Hare Krsna!!

If we want change, we have to realize the only way to do so is to change our hearts with love. An equal love for all humanity because that is what we all are searching for in the end isn't it? To be accepted soulfully on a personal level with each living being. That is what the path of Bhakti Yoga teaches, to love with every extent of ourselves and to be ever giving, joyful, and caring. It teaches the greatest power of love, a golden spark that lies within the depths of our hearts - the love that exists for all creation and the creator of this extravagant universe.

"The basic principle of the living condition is the propensity to love someone. The missing piece is where to direct our love so we can all be happy."

these little anecdotes make me feel more positive about the world's so called "disasters". Amidst all the problems that the world and worldly persons encounter on a frequent basis, that beneath every living soul is a kindred spirit and loving spirit who is eager to serve others over and beyond their capacity. Thus when a person is an angst about their limited capacities to do the best they can to others, often feel like they have so called "failed" in their dharma. Luckily, bhakti yoga provides an opportunity to serve the person who can provide unlimited service for every single individual spirit soul. This is making me begin to realize that, in essence, Krishna is actually serving us, rather than serving him. But because of his mercy, he lets us do devotional service in order to reciprocate the relationship. Thank you kindly for sharing!! Hare Krsna!!
